it's been a week since that crazy monsoon wind (hanging habagat as we call it in Filipino) started bringing in a lot of heavy rains and flash floods and whatnots (including a sudden landslide that caused the deaths of 9 (?) people), causing all public and private establishments (gov't offices and schools) to suspend their activities--until saturday (and some of them in the capital region National Capital Region still suspend their classes in all levels. haha~
